The Pitch
A platform built for creators and audiences.
AVA is a subscription platform where listeners support creators directly by listening or watching.
Instead of chasing ads, creators earn from the people who actually spend time with their work.
One subscription grants access to all creators. Each subscriber’s payment is then distributed based on the time they actually spend listening to or watching each creator.
No algorithms chasing clicks.
No ads dictating content.
Just audiences supporting the creators they truly value – in the fairest way possible.
The Problem
Misaligned incentives.
Musicians earn fractions of pennies per stream. Podcasters rely on advertisers and brand deals. Algorithms decide who is seen – and who disappears.
Creators are pushed to make advertiser-friendly, brand-safe content optimised for virality – not depth, originality or honesty.
The result? Culture shaped by what spreads fastest, not what matters most.
The Theory
Align incentives. Elevate output.
When audiences fund creators directly, everything changes.
Musicians don’t need millions of streams to survive. Podcasters don’t need to soften opinions for sponsors. Creators don’t need to chase algorithms.
If revenue flows from listener to artist, content becomes deeper, braver and more original – by design.
The Solution
A direct to audience ecosystem.
AVA enables subscription-based support for musicians, podcasters and independent creators.
Listeners directly support the voices they value. Creators retain ownership of their work.
The majority of revenue flows back to the artist – not the platform.
No reliance on ads. No algorithmic gatekeeping. Just direct exchange between creator and audience.

HOW IT WORKS
The attention subscription model.
Subscriptions aren’t pooled.
Each one is split and allocated individually, based on actual subscriber behaviour.
If a subscriber spends:
• 70% of their time with Creator A
• 30% with Creator B
Then 70% of their subscription goes to Creator A, and 30% goes to Creator B.
Every payment follows the individual listener’s time – not platform-wide averages, not popularity, not pooled revenue.
Subscribe
One subscription gives you access to all content on AVA.
Enjoy
Enjoy podcasts and video, as creators intend them to be experienced.
Support
The time you spend listening and watching each creator is tracked.
Your subscription fee is then split by time – creators earn in proportion to your attention, not ads.
Our philosophy.
Great media is built on trust, time, and honest work.
When creators are rewarded for real attention, better stories, deeper ideas, and more thoughtful content naturally follow.
AVA is designed around a simple belief: people should be paid fairly for the time they earn, and audiences should know their support actually matters. By prioritising attention over advertising, AVA creates space for independence, truth, and long-term thinking in media.
This isn’t about changing how people watch or listen – it’s about building a system that finally respects it.

Frequently asked questions.
AVA (Audio Visual Application) is a subscription-based platform for podcasts and long-form audio/video where creators are paid based on how much time people actually spend with their content.
Instead of ads, algorithms, or fixed pledges, AVA splits subscription revenue based on watch and listen time – so creators are rewarded for attention, not clicks.
Yes. At launch, AVA expects to take a 15% platform fee.
This covers payment processing, infrastructure, moderation, and the ongoing development of the platform. The remaining 85% of each subscription goes directly to creators, split based on each individual listener’s actual listening or viewing time – not pooled across the platform.
As AVA scales, our aim is to reduce the platform fee to around 10%, passing efficiencies back to creators rather than increasing margins.
No advertising. No hidden cuts. Just a transparent system built to reward attention fairly.
Each subscription is split across creators based on the percentage of total time a listener spends with their content. If someone spends 30% of their time with one creator, that creator receives 30% of that listeners subscription fund.
Creators are free to include ads or sponsors if they choose, but AVA does not require advertiser-friendly content and does not insert platform ads.
Creators retain full ownership of their content. AVA is a distribution and monetisation platform – not a rights holder.
The Founders Club is a group of early creators, selected across different genres, who will receive equity in AVA for helping shape the platform from launch.
No. Creators can continue publishing elsewhere and use AVA alongside existing platforms.
AVA launches with podcasts and creator-led audio, with plans to expand into music and broader entertainment over time.
